May 29 to August 15: Mon-Sat 10:30am-9pm; Sun 12noon-9pm
August 16 to September 6: Weekday hours, Mon-Fri 4:00pm-9:00pm, Sat & Sun same as above.

Devon has gone to the Dogs!
Have you ever wanted to bring your dog to Devon for a swim?
Well now you can! On Sunday Sept 12th from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Devon will have its first Dog Day of Summer. Bring the pooch, a poop bag, a frisbee and dog towel, and let your dog have a swimming good time.
An adult family member must be in attendance the entire time.
See you at the pool!

Year End Tennis Tournament
It’s that time of year and the end of the year tournament is here!!! The following is the schedule for the finals.

4:00 PM Women’s A Doubles
6:00 PM Men’s A Doubles
8:00 PM Mixed B Doubles

We will have the Annual Devon Calcutta!!!
This will Start at 9:30 AM. The cost is $5.00 per person. This event is open to all members and guests.
Remeber to bring a new can of balls for your tournament matches. The cost for the year end tournament is $5.00 per person/per event. Please pay Chris or Kathy Love. Thank you and can’t wait to see you at the courts!!!!

Opportunity to help Devon
If you like to talk to people, and you truly appreciate having a great place like Devon to spend some of your free time during the summer, then you might be interested in this. Devon’s season may end after our ‘grand finale’ (our always fun Labor Day weekend events), but it’s also the beginning of a new season for the board of directors and other volunteers that make things happen around the club. There’s one very important board position open for next year, membership/marketing, and we’re looking for right person to fill it. If you have any interest in helping out, please give me a call or send me an e-mail and I’ll tell you more about it and answer any questions you may have. Seahorse Snack Shack

Junior Team Tennis Reminder
Attention Junior Tennis Players and Parents!!!!!
This is a reminder of our Junior tennis program.
10 and under will have lessons on Mon, Weds, Fri from 10:45-11:45am(right after swim team practice)
All age Juniors will have lessons Mon, Weds,Fri from 10-11am.
Junior Team Practice is on Mondays from 12-1pm.
Team Tennis Matches are TBA (but usually take place on Tues/Thurs around 11,12 or 1pm at various locations.

$100 Off!
Did you know that this year a new member can join Devon and get the $100 initiation fee waived if they were a member of another Indianapolis-area swim club or a neighborhood pool group, or are a recently returning veteran? We think that’s a great incentive to become part of the Devon family. And we hope you take the time over the next few weeks to think of some friends and neighbors who would make good Devon members (even if they don’t qualify for the $100 discount).
Although the club membership committee always does its best to ‘market’ Devon by holding open houses, participating in silent auctions, and other more direct advertising methods, the reality is the vast majority of our members come through referrals from current members. And we always loose some members every year due to job transfers, home relocations, and other lifestyle changes.
So, please help if you can by spreading the good word about what a great value and fun place Devon is to spend your summer. If you’re not comfortable directly recruiting a prospective member, please suggest that they visit our website, where they can see lots of great photos and download brochures and membership forms, or, have them contact board members Mark Trausch at 317-283-5173 or Marc Diebold at 317-598-9598 for more information.
